Personal Memoir of Sexual Abuse, by Tracy Ross, "The Source of All Things"

This is a powerful and disturbing account of sexual abuse.
I must warn you that the memoir is painful and may provoke feelings for those who have experienced something similar. If you are a molest survivor who has not received mental health counseling, or your abuse is very recent, perhaps the best idea would be to print this article out and take into your therapist for discussion.

The writing is beautiful, honest and moving. While graphic, it was a healing act for the author. I think this type of writing has its place and provides a cathartic forum for many people.

The Source of All Things
"What if your favorite place in the world was ground zero for your greatest strengths and your deepest fears? The author and her father trek into Idaho's Sawtooth Mountains to grapple with a tragedy that has haunted them for decades."
