Due to the popularity of OMA events we strongly recommend that guests purchase tickets to all OMA events in advance. OMA events often sell out and we cannot guarantee tickets at the door for any event.

OMA currently holds four Art After Dark events a year, each inspired by a different theme that often relates to the museum’s exhibitions. Recent events have grown exponentially, with attendance reaching over 700 patrons. Art After Dark is a program designed to attract an array of audiences interested in broadening their understanding and appreciation of art. This entertaining “art party” provides members and new visitors with a sensational evening intended to support the museum’s dynamic exhibitions and events. Creatively charged with live music, performance, interactive stations, stunning thematic art, and delectable food and beverages, guests enjoy an artistic sensory overload. In addition, guests will have the opportunity to view four art exhibitions during the Art After Dark event on Friday, January 27, 2012: The Point of View: William Glen Crooks, It’s Not My Fault: The Art of Everett Peck, A Matter of Space: Cathy Breslaw and Ian Ross.

Art After Dark is made possible by the James Irvine Foundation.
