I saw Sara Blakely interviewed on Good Morning America last week. She blew my socks off when she talked about her father; he asked her (and her brother) every night at the dinner table if she had failed at anything that day. When she said yes, he was thrilled. He encouraged failure! I love it...failure has always been such a dreadful - weak- word, but, now we have begun to see the consequence of that thinking...people are less creative, more constricted, fearful and self-conscious.
