OCEANSIDE: Synchronized swimming show set for Saturday

The Oceanside Parks and Recreation Division will present its 46th annual synchronized swimming show "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" Saturday.
"It's got a lot of history in Oceanside," said Parks and Recreation Division manager Eileen Turk. "It's a really cute program. They light up the pool with spotlights."
Swimmers participate in the show as the culmination of city synchronized swimming classes, Turk said.
The show is scheduled to start at dusk, about 8 p.m., at the Brooks Street Swim Center, 130 Brooks Street, Turk said.
Tickets are $2 for adults and $1 for children 3- to 18-years-old. Admission is free for children under 3-years-old.
Details are available by calling the city division at 760-435-5041 or on the Parks and Recreation Division on the city's website, www.oceansiderec.com.
