Semester At Sea Pulls Into San Diego Harbor for Tedx Talk

Tedx Talk Aboard Semester at Sea in San Diego Port 1/09/14.   I attended a Ted Talk aboard the MV Explorer with my colleague Lorene Ibbetson.  Over 600 college kids were set to leave for 110 days...visiting 4 continents and more than 30 countries.

The Ted talk was a brilliant kick-off...the cruise ship is large and outstanding (I'd never been aboard one of those babies!)
Several speakers lined up for the Ted talks, with a focus on Social Entrepreneurship

Two young brothers that had sailed around the world for 3 years were a funny duo - sweet and goofy, sharing their brave, real world life experience.
The amazing young founder of Kiva spoke...wow!

So, if you get a chance, do a Ted Talk - or check out Semester at Sea's opportunities.
