The Cottonwood Creek Environmental Film Series is organized annually by the Downtown Encinitas MainStreet Association (DEMA), in order to help promote downtown Encinitas and to raise environmental awareness. The series consists of three monthly film screenings at the new Pacific Station plaza, 687 S. Coast Hwy 101. All film screenings are free and take place from sunset to 9:00 pm. Whole Foods Market will be popping organic popcorn- free for all film attendees! Roll up on or in anything besides a gasoline car for a free raffle ticket. Ride a bike, skateboard, strap on your blades, use your feet, charge an electric car or get creative. (Sorry, but hybrid vehicles do not count.) Bring your own beach chair because seating is limited.

We just got a new toy in our home. A chin-up bar, ($19.95) at the local Rite Aid. It pops in and out of the doorway frame. So far, we can all do more pull-ups than we could do last week.
